I'm from Spain and I used to watch RMA games just because of this player. From the 1st time that I saw him playing I knew he had smth special. The dude can easily eliminates some opponents with one run and that was incredible to see. It was like no1 could stop him. A pity that he had to leave in order to play more mins. Anyway, he didn't deserve the secondary role he had behind Casemiro, Kroos and Modric so I guess he did great by signing with Chelsea. Enjoy with the croat machine!

His best trait is definitely dribbling. His passing/defending are decent as well, but he really still needs to work on his shooting to give the team some goal scoring threat from midfield. Nonetheless he is still a really solid all around player.

He’s so underrated. People would look at him from the outside and say well he doesn’t score or assist much and a Real Madrid flop. But boy that doesn’t resemble him as a player. Ball recoveries, speed, agility, pinching the ball off opponents and running away with it, dribbling, short passing and a great switch of play, his stamina and balance is unreal and he puts a foot in aswell.
